Join the Nordik K9 Search and Rescue Sport Club for a thrilling adventure with your dog! SAR Sport simulates real search and rescue operations using trained dogs and handlers, focusing on testing canine skills, building teamwork, and promoting safety. Our club offers area search, obedience, and tracking training. Open to everyone, regardless of experience level, our club welcomes all breeds.

Membership Fees & Benefits

Access to experienced trainers for our season of April to October.

Enhance your canine skills and strengthen the bond with your dog through structured training in tracking, area search, obedience, and scent detection.

Embark on thrilling outdoor adventures, explore diverse terrains, and join a supportive community of like-minded enthusiasts who share your passion for dogs and adventure.

Gain confidence and contribute to safety preparedness while enjoying the fun and excitement of SAR Sport activities.

 

Roughly 2-3 hours of collaborative group training per week.

​

We'll be limiting our membership to a range of 20-25 individuals. This ensures that we can dedicate ample time to work effectively with each member and their dogs during our training sessions. We acknowledge that not everyone will attend every training day, but this approach helps us maintain a manageable and productive start without feeling overwhelmed.

Club Details and Upcoming Dates:

Kickoff Date: We're launching on April 17th and 24th ... 7-9pm at the Raw4Dogs Indoor Training Centre located at 2830 Old Second Rd N, Elmvale, ON - mark it on your calendar!

​

Training Locations: Get ready to explore various spots, including the Essa Agriplex, CFB Borden, and various Simcoe Forest areas.

​

Training Times: Join us on Wednesdays from 4 pm to 7 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm (please note that these times are tentative for now). Training with be either Wednesday or Sunday of that week, not both.
