Development Track

Dogs in the Development Track build on the Foundations curriculum, expanding their skill set to 18 total skills that increase reliability, clarity, and handler control. This track includes all foundational commands and behaviors, with the addition of the stand command and e-collar layering to reinforce communication at greater distance and under higher distraction. Training continues to emphasize loose leash heeling, engagement, marker conditioning, and clear handler–dog communication, while further strengthening dog and human neutrality, environmental confidence, muzzle conditioning, and consistent house manners to support real-world performance.
