Service Description
Scent Detection Development is a monthly guided training session designed for handlers working toward progression in sport scent detection disciplines such as CKC and SDDA as well as anyone looking to advanced their skills in various scent specific profiles. This is not a formal class or workshop. Instead, it provides structured practice time where teams at all levels can gain search exposure, build clarity on odour, and develop practical problem-solving skills under the guidance of a professional trainer. Training setups will vary each session and may include container searches, interior and exterior problems, vehicles, and skill-building exercises tailored to individual team needs. Coaching and feedback are provided throughout, while allowing handlers to take an active role in developing their own training process. This session is appropriate for both newer teams building foundational understanding and more experienced teams seeking continued exposure and progression in trial-relevant scenarios. To maintain quality instruction and adequate working time, participation is limited to 6 teams per session.

Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required to reserve your spot. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs must meet Nordik K9's vaccination requirements prior to attending class. If your dog is not suitable for a group environment, we may recommend a Professional Canine Behaviour Assessment and an alternative training program. Once classes begin, there are no refunds. Deferral of class may be granted in some circumstances. Cancellation may occur before 72 hrs of the first class beginning. All bookings are subject to Nordik K9's Terms & Conditions.
