Working K9 Academy
With over 25 years of experience, Tony Pallotta is a prominent figure in the dog training industry. Starting in 1993, he initially focused on obedience training but soon discovered his passion for continuous learning and improvement. His journey led him to specialize in Schutzhund, where he excelled as a handler and decoy. However, he identified missing elements and embarked on a quest to prepare dogs for real-world protection sports, challenging both handlers and dogs in unscripted scenarios.
Tony's pursuit of expertise took him to Italy, where he collaborated with Renzo Zolli and expanded his skill set through international training partnerships. His journey continued in the Netherlands, where he worked with Erik Huft in the KNPV program, exposing him to a novel approach in the world of working dogs. This program, previously unknown outside the Netherlands, has produced elite military and police K9s, and Tony's association with top-tier trainers was a profound honor.
